Stephanie Thompson received her D.M.A. in clarinet performance from the University of Michigan and her M.M. and B.M. degrees from Youngstown State University Dana School of Music. She has studied with Theodore Oien, Fred Ormand, Clark Brody, Dennis Nygren and Joseph Edwards. She has performed with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, Michigan Chamber Orchestra and Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestras. She has also performed with the Seranata Winds and the KRESS Wind Quintet. Dr. thompson has taught at the University of New Orleans and Eastern Michigan University.
