He also is an instructor in cello at the University of Redlands, California, and plays with the Los Angeles Opera and San Bernardino Symphony. He has frequently performed throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In addition to playing full symphonic music, Mr. Champion is an accomplished chamber music performer and often performs with the American Sinfonietta's Chamber Music Groups. This summer he will perform the Brahms Quintet op. 115 on, "An Evening of Brahms", during the Bellingham Music Festival.

Kyle Champion is a very busy freelance musician in Los Angeles, Principal Cellist with the Redlands Symphony and Section Cellist with the Long Beach Symphony in addition to being cellist with the American Sinfonietta.
