Richard Roberts is concertmaster of the Montreal Symphony and Brant Bayless is principal Violist of the Utah Symphony. I had the wonderful opportunity to perform Mozart's Clarinet Quintet k. 581 with them along with Violinist-Victor Costanzi and Cellist-Steven Thomas. Stephen is Principal Cellist with the New Haven Symphony with duties as Professor at the Hartt School of Music. Victor Costanzi is perhaps Canada's most versatile violinist, spanning many genres from symphony to chamber to broadway. He has also recorded for the CBC and numerous other labels. All are remarkable musicians with a great sense of humor not to mention being so very kind and considerate. Wish you could have experienced their performance of the Mozart, Bach and Brahms Sextet. |
