Since
graduating from the Indiana School of Music, Adam Satinsky has been engaged
as a professional cellist throughout the United States and abroad.
At Indiana University, Mr. Satinsky served as a principal cellist and performed in numerious recitals, orchestral performances and opera productions including a tour to Switzerland as a member of a piano quartet. A winner of the Indiana University Concerto Competition for Cello, he received an Artists Diploma as a student of Janos Starker. Mr. Satinsky has performed as soloist with the Peabody Institute Chamber Orchestra, the Gibbs Chamber Orchestra and the Santa Barbara Symphony. He served as Assistant Professor of Cello at the College of Charleston as well as Cellist with the Charleston Symphony from 1995 to 1997. Presently Mr. Satinsky serves as Principal Cellist with the Naples Philharmonic in Florida. This summer marks his first appearance with the American Sinfonietta. Also this summer he will be performing at the Grand Teton Music Festival and has several recital engagements in Vermont. |
