Terry
Orcutt is presently principal oboe of the Canton Symphony Orchestra in
Ohio. He is an active freelancer in the Cleveland area and has played
with the Toledo Symphony, Erie Philharmonic, Wheeling Symphony, and Youngstown
Symphony.
While a member of the Juniper Quintet with fellow American Sinfonietta member, Teri Forscher, they received Second Prize at the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition and Third Place in the Darius Milhaud Performance Prize Competition in 1999. He was principal oboe of the Breckenridge Music Festival Orchestra under Gerhardt Zimmermann. He has also attended the National Repertory Orchestra and Aspen summer festivals. Terry received his MM from the Cleveland Institute of Music studying with John Mack and his BM from the Mannes College of Music studying with Linda Strommen. |
