Jennifer
Gunter began studying the bassoon at age thirteen and continued her high
school education at Interlochen Arts Academy. She holds a Bachelor of
Music and the Eastman Performers Certificate from Eastman School of Music,
and the Master of Music from Rice University where she studied with Ben
Kamins.
Jennifer has played with several music festivals including the National Repertory Orchestra in Breckenridge, Colorado and the Aspen Music Festival. She has played principal bassoon with the State of Mexico Symphony Orchestra, principal and second bassoon with the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera, second with the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra and contrabassoon and extra with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra. |
