A
native of Cheney Washington, Elizabeth Gibbs now lives and works in New
York City. After studying with Marc Lifschey at Indiana University, Elizabeth
continued her studies with Joseph Robinson, Principal Oboe of the New
York Philharmonic. Elizabeth is a premier orchestral and chamber music
performer in the New York City area. In addition to performing with the
New York Philharmonic, she has played with such regional orchestras as
the Princeton Symphony Orchestra and the Westchester Symphony Orchestra.
During past summers, Ms. Gibbs performed with the Sarasota Music Festival
and held a fellowship position with the Aspen Music Festival.
She currently performs with the New York Chamber Ensemble at the Cape May Music Festival. Elizabeth is delighted to be back in her home state performing with the American Sinfonietta at the Bellingham Festival of Music. |
