Born
in Los Angeles, Ms. Blum received her BA from UCLA and a MA from the University
of Wisconsin majoring in contemporary violin literature. She has been
a member of the San Antonio and Dallas Symphonies and was for six years
assistant principal of the Chicago Lyric Opera Orchestra. Ms. Blum was
a violinist with the Pro Arte Quartet for fourteen years.
She is currently a principal player with the Madison Symphony Orchestra. When not performing she resides in Allenspark, Colorado; Tucson, Arizona; and Madison, Wisconson with her husband. |
